Gisborne’s bigger, better Mitre 10 on track for Xmas
WITH THE STEEL frame and concrete tilt slab going up on the Derby Street site, Mitre 10 Gisborne owner-operator Geoff Taylor says construction is on track for the 5,500m2 store to open before the end of the year.
“It’s exciting to have the steel work up and to be able to get a sense of the size and scale of the store.
“Now the steel work is up, the roof will be completed over the coming weeks and we will start pouring the floor in early October.
“It’s great to have everything basically running to schedule at present.”
The current temporary outdoor living store which opened this time last year in September will close on 13 October with the team moving across to get ready for the new store’s opening.
