Registration for the Women’s 5k Walk/Run are open now! This year there is an option to participate at the
physical event or virtually from anywhere in Tasmania.
The Women’s 5K physical event sets out from Launceston’s City Park and through the city streets at 10am
on Sunday 12 September 2021. Everyone is encouraged to come along dressed in pink and walk or run the
event.
This event supports and encourages health awareness for all Tasmanians, and also raises vital funds for
Cancer Council Tasmania’s support and research programs. Each year, the Women’s 5km Walk/Run brings
together thousands of men, women and children of all ages, backgrounds, levels of fitness and accessibility in
celebration and remembrance of life.
Sign up, wear pink the weekend of 10-12 September 2021 and raise much needs funds for Cancer
Council Tasmania. If you can’t make it to the event, you can donate at www.womens5k.org.au
