he Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell of St. Teresa’s College was initiated to
promote entrepreneurial skill and rural commitment among students. This year,
Tthe Cell was instrumental in organising webinars and field visits. A survey was also
conducted among Krishibhavan officers in Ernakulam district as part of the One District-One
Product Program, an initiative of Prime Minister’s Formalisation of Micro Food Processing
Enterprises Scheme. The program was designed to educate farmers about various Government
schemes and improve agricultural marketing.

his year, the Institution’s Innovation Cell
achieved a four-star rating which is the highest
Tgrade awarded at the National Level during
the assessment period. The Cell was also given the
‘Performer’ Award under the ARIIA ranking for its
ST.TERESA’S COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), ERNAKULAM
outstanding contribution to promote innovative
ventures. Over the year, the cell conducted 35 activities
related to Innovation, Entrepreneurship and IPR.
Students participated in the Smart India Hackathon
and were also selected as interns at Kerala Innovation
Week by Kerala Start-up Mission.
