Christmas Decoration Contest – We will have the annual Christmas decoration contest in Shenandoah this year. Any resident can submit a nomination, but only paid members as of Dec. 1 are eligible to win. Nominations need to be sent to beautification@shawebwatch.com by Monday, December 16. Eligible nominees will be sent to the board for judging by Dec. 20. Board members will bring their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place selections to Kevin at the January meeting, and the winners will be announced at the meeting.
Election of SHA Appointees to the SECPID Board – The SHA Board elected Darryl Tate and Beth Scardina as the SHA appointees to the SECPID Board to fill the two open positions. They will be sworn in at the January SECPID meeting
JCABA Jones Creek Christmas Parade – Henry reported that the Jones Creek Area Business Association will be holding the annual Jones Creek Christmas parade once again this year. The parade will be on Sunday, December 8. The board decided not to enter a float in the parade, but anyone who wishes to do so can find the information and forms at jcaba. org. SHA is a member of JCABA.
The next monthly business meeting of the Shenandoah Homeowners Association Ltd. will be on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jones Creek Library.
