If you want to take turns with a toy, ask the one who has the toy when you can have a turn. Then come back at that time and remind them that it is your turn.
If for some reason they do not want to give up the toy, you can ask them when they are willing to give it up or you can find another toy. You can tell them that not living up to an agreement can cause others to not trust what they say and others will stop believing them.
If someone has something you want but they do not want to share, there is no rule that they must share. So if you ask someone to share and they say they don’t want to, you should accept their decision and not get angry with them. There will be times when you will have a toy or food that you don’t want to share and you will want others to do the same for you.”

Stella continued her lesson with Tanya, hoping to get her to change. “When you are told that you can’t do something or have something, do not start telling on the others who may have done the same thing or have the same thing. You should be concerned only with yourself and not try and get something by getting others into trouble.
