Quorum present — Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Henry Grace, President.
Membership Report – Mike Girir extended the Board’s appreciation to the SECPID for their contribution of $1,000.00 toward the American Flag program throughout Shenandoah Estates. The total cost of placing the American Flag in every resident’s yard during the holidays is $1,785.00. The SECPID contribution leaves the Shenandoah Estates Homeowners Association with the remaining cost of a little over $800.00, this year.
Mike reported we are getting into the grass cutting season for the SHA properties. The cost of this effort during the Summer season is $400.00 a month, and the grass is cut once a week.
A one-time fee was paid to Ed Craig, our webmaster, for upgrading the www.shawebwatch.com to a “Responsive” format; the work is completed. The annual service and support fee is paid until March 31, 2019.
New homeowners association membership fees are being submitted. There have been 71 during the current month. Most of the membership renewals occur during January and February, but we get new members and some late renewals during the year. Some homeowners include an additional amount of their membership fee to be used for various programs and projects for the benefit of Shenandoah Estates. Receipts are $3,255.00
A letter is being prepared and will be sent to previously paid members to remind them their membership is not renewed for 2018. Henry Grace, on behalf of the Shenandoah Homeowners association, extended their appreciation to Mike for his work as the treasurer.
