Architectural Report – Ken reported that 4 residents put up new fences without permits. He reminded residents that the city requires permits for any new fence, regardless of length, and for any replacement fence over 25’ long. A resident on Chadsford built a patio cover without a permit or inspection. A resident on Fredericksburg is doing a 2-story construction behind the house without a permit. Both of these have been reported. The black water pool behind the vacant house on Shenandoah Ave. has been drained.
Newswatch – Ed Craig – Ed’s first issue of the Newswatch was printed and mailed on time. He is looking for more advertisers. Chester Welch suggested putting a mention of the free vacation checks available to paid SHA members on the front of the Newswatch and on the website.
Beautification Report – The “YARD OF THE MONTH” in Shenandoah Estates for February 5275 Stones River. They will receive a $25 gift certificate from Cleggs Nursery. Congratulations! Residents are reminded that they can nominate yards for “Yard of the Month” on the website.
Entrance Committee Report – Tom presented a proposal from Newton Landscape Group to design the front entrance sign. Mike G. made a motion, seconded by Kevin, to accept
