2020 Membership Drive

Dear Fellow Resident,
We have completed another year! Last year your Board determined that it was necessary to dramat- ically increase the number of Residents that paid their annual dues. In 2018, ONLY 384 Residents paid the $30 annual dues. I am excited to report that the determination and efforts were successful! In 2019, 799 Residents have stepped up by paying their dues. 134 Residents voluntarily contributed more than $30 to support the efforts of the Board. I call that dramatic. The Board and really the whole Association would like to thank all of you that contributed to that turnaround. The Board is again determined to dra- matically increase that number. We have 2058 homes in Shenandoah Estates which makes us the largest subdivision in Louisiana, and among the largest in the United States. Most of the Associations around us have much larger dues requirements and they are Mandatory. Our $30 would provide us ample assets to accomplish our mission in meeting your needs if more of us participate. Hope you can join the parade this year.
The 2020 Membership drive will be like last year’s program. Enclosed you will find a flyer that ex- plains the program in detail. Again, we will have prizes in conjunction with the Membership Drive. The drawings will take place at the April meeting of the Board. Also, take a few minutes to read the enclosed brochure which explains many of the services provided by YOUR Association. The Association’s Board is staffed with dedicated Shenandoah Estates residents who volunteer their time and resources to provide you with the services outlined to provide a safe, pleasant place to live and raise your family.
The Shenandoah Homeowners Association monthly Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Jones Creek Regional Library beginning at 7:00pm. All meetings are open to the public, and we invite you to attend at least one a year to see how we go about providing the services that you want.
