If it was an iPhone you can use the phone my phone feature on anyone’s iPhone or home computer. Even they turn it off. They turn it on eventually and you will get a ping

“they took his phone” makes me think it was more
than one person. Maybe, driver and passenger that gets out of the car ??. This area seems to be getting worse. Hopefully, there’s cameras in the area that can help with pictures of the car. I’m so glad your son is safe, Beth. Hopefully, the person that did this will be off the streets soon.

Yes there were 2 more in the car. We had the phone turned off. But they had already turned it off too. We really are not worried about the phone!

I don’t think the comments about finding the phone are truly to find the phone, but rather perhaps that it would lead to the thieves.

So glad your son is okay. A very scary situation. So sick of all the break ins hold ups etc. I’m sorry but we really didn’t have much of this before Katrina and Gustav the crap from NO stayed and this is what we get. Don’t assume the sheriffs are patrolling. The only thing they seem to do well is write tickets for stupid reasons. Basi- cally worthless
