It seems simple enough because you humans are always leaving half-full containers on your picnic tables. The jug rule is Tip then Sip.
You never try to sip until you tip.
Unfortunately, Distracted Dan was not paying attention when we were all taught this lesson. The very first time he found a container with a good smelling liquid in it, he discovered why crows have this rule.
He immediately stuck his head down into the jug and sipped. But then he could not get his head back out of the jug. Luckily, several of us were close by.
We grabbed the handle of the jug, flew about ten feet high and dropped it to the pavement, with Dan still stuck inside. The jug broke into pieces, releasing a very wet Distracted Dan.
