and the actual business meeting will start at 7:00. Refreshments will be served. The main purpose of this meeting is the election of board members. Six Board Members are up for re-election. The members whose terms are expiring are Henry Grace, Mike Bass, Ken Buturla, Tom Hirschey, Sandy Smith, and Mike Giroir. Mike Giroir was elected on an interim basis this year to complete the unexpired term of Prentiss Ferrill who resigned. Henry stated that anyone interested in nominating themselves or someone else for a board position should contact him at president@shawebwatch.com.
New Business: SECPID Commissioners – One member of the SECPID shall be appointed by the Mayor-President from a list of candidates presented to the Mayor by the SHA. The list of candidates presented by the SHA will include Larry Horacek, Darryl Tate, and Xavier Hoskins. The SHA Board voted to recommend that the Mayor appoint Larry Horacek.
2019 Budget Meeting – The election of officers will be held at the October SHA Board meeting. A budget meeting will take place after the new officers are elected. The annual meeting will be next Monday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jones Creek Library
The next monthly business meeting of the Shenandoah Homeowners Association Ltd. will be on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jones Creek Library.
