COSMOS EXPLAINS THE CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL
Squiggy was different. Not real different, he just did not like chocolate. But for some, this difference was reason enough not to trust him, to come up with reasons why he was different and to treat him badly. The reasons were not based on any facts and their thinking was Stinky. When you make decisions like Fuzzy Tail and Red Tail, you are being prejudiced.
In your world, you can be prejudiced toward others because of their race, religion, sex or just because of the clothes they wear and the holidays they celebrate. You can also be prejudiced toward someone because they don’t like the same things you do, like sports or a singing group.

What all of this has in common is that it is not based on anything real or important. If someone is frequently mean to you or wants to copy your homework, you may choose to avoid them and that may be Good Thinking. But if you avoid someone just because their skin is a different color or they go to a different church, that’s Stinky Thinking and you are being prejudiced.
In the story, Squiggy does not take part in the festival because he does not like chocolate. He is not ugly about it. He was honest and hoped the others would have a good time and enjoy his share of the chocolate.
