When you are young, you are supposed to learn the rules and ways to succeed as an adult. As a child, you may get fussed at if you are not civil. But as an adult, you will get in a lot of trouble, possibly fired from a job or arrested for fighting or worse. All of these adult problems can be avoided if you learn some simple “Civil Rules.”
BEING CIVIL RULES
• Always treat others the way you would like to be treated.
• Always pay attention when others are speaking to you.
• Never purposely try to embarrass or be mean to others.
• Never insist on having “your way” if that will cause harm to others. • Use “Please” with a request.
• Use “Thank You” even if your request is denied
