This can be justifiable unless we find ourselves using untruthfulness when we know it is outside of the “white lie” boundaries.
The nal character in the story is truthful most of the time. This can occur if you are respectful of others (tell the truth about the broken egg).
Teach your children to take personal responsibility for their actions (not blaming others for the broken egg). And to be brave enough to accept the reasonable consequences for their behavior (tell your parents that you did not study for the test and accept the consequences).
Teach these lessons and illustrate this with your own behavior to your children and you will raise a “Truthful Turtle”.
