I married Waverly Earl “Dick” Donahoe (born March 2, 1947), on September 25, 1988. Dick was born in Jackson, Mississippi to the parents of Billy Donahoe and Vivian Tomlinson. His dad was career Army. He was a Master Sergeant and ROTC Instructor. He became ill while serving in Korea and had to return to the states. He was medically discharged because of a serious heart condition and died at the age of 46. Dick served in the Mississippi Army National Guard, 113th Military Police.
Dick had a daughter, Candee and a son Kirk from previous marriages. Candee was raised in Mississippi and Kirk’s mother had died from breast cancer when Kirk was very young and he was raised by Dick and me.

Candee graduated from University of Florida and she married her college sweetheart, Michael Lovchuk on February 22, 1992 and they divorced in 2010. They have two children, Kendall Lee and Alexander Michael. Kendall graduated from University of Florida, married in 2018, and lives in Clarksville, TN. Alexander is a Sophomore at University of Florida.
