Connie was known for her knowledge of ancient history and thus they thought she might be able to tell them about this interesting find.
I happened to be visiting Connie when they brought in the item from the dump. Connie spoke with the others for awhile and studied the item from the dump. It seemed to be the head of an animal.
The crows who had found it explained that its body, which they left at the dump, resembled that of a very small bear. Connie turned the head from the dump this way and that, looking it over from top to bottom.
