CHAPTER FIVE
GRATITUDE: A KEY FOR PEACE
n a world where pandemics daily threatens peace, economic crises
among other life-dreaded realities that are prevalent around us,
Igratitude might just be the perfect antidote to the order which we
crave.
While there are many ways to restore calm into your life, living a life
filled with gratitude must be the quickest. It is quite impossible for one
to be bitter and grateful at the same time. Moreso, it is a hard thing, if
not unrealistic, for anyone to feel gratitude and any ‘negative’ emotion
or thought at ditto time. Put this to test yourself and see what results
come from being grateful and trying to get angry; make it real, though,
don’t try to feign anger or gratitude.
Most people normally take things for granted, meaning that our
daily lives are on automatic mode, and we gulp along as always, except
something hinders our flow. Whatever that seems to be working is
thought of as “that’s the way it is.” It is until we see something pop up
