PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
The present continuous tense gives the idea that an action is in progress
during a particular time. The tense says that an action begins before, is in
progress during, and continues after another time or action.
Examples:
Positive Sentences
He is Playing football with his friends in the field now. Remember!
Ani and Zahra are cooking nasi goreng in the kitchen now.
Negative Sentences Simple Present
He is not playing football with his friends in the field now.
Ani and Zahra are not cooking nasi goreng in the kitchen now. I eat bakso.
I do not eat bakso.
Interrogative Sentences Do I eat bakso?
Is he playing football with his friends in the field now?
Are Ani and Zahra cooking nasi goreng in the kitchen now?
Present continuous
I am eating bakso now.
I am not eating bakso now.
