In closing, the 2020 NYSDA Virtual HOD meeting was an overall success thanks to the
continued efforts of select people. My personal thanks to Dr. Eugene Porcelli, NCDS

Executive Director; NCDS DELEGATES Binod Verma, DDS, Howard Baylarian, DDS,
Joseph Brofsky, DMD, James Fitzgerald, DDS, Donald Hills, DDS, Sanford Klein, DDS,
Katayoon Noroozi-Leibowitz, DDS, Robert Peskin, DDS, Gerardo Romeo, DDS MD, and
Michael Shreck, DMD as well as NCDS ALTERNATE DELEGATES David Miller, DDS,
Stephen Akseizer, DDS, Meena Jaiswal, DDS and Maureen Tredwell, DDS; Dr. Mark
Feldman, NYSDA Executive Director, Dr. Steven Gounardes, NYSDA Speaker and
especially our NCDS and NYSDA staffs.

It would be nice if the “new norm” is short lived. It is reassuring to know our association can
function efficiently should the new norm decide to stick around.

Dr. Frank Palmaccio is a Periodontist in private practice in
Plainview and Huntington, NY. He received his Dental degree
from Columbia, did a GPR at New York Hospital, Queens and
his degree in Periodontics at Temple University. He is a
NYSDA Trustee representing the Nassau County Dental Society.
