It is no secret that social media is becoming more and more a part of our daily lives. In 2013 digital marketing budgets worldwide increased significantly and most companies report a rapid increase in usage by employees. This page aims to provide key information for Nuix team members who participate in social media. We're keen to
hear from you - what information do you need to participate confidently in business-related social media?
Things You Need To Know
Be Brand Conscious
Everything you do on social media that mentions Nuix or our business activities reflects our company and on you. The Nuix brand values must be present in all social media commentary. If you see social media content that reflects poorly on Nuix or its stakeholders, notify your manager or marketing immediately. Protecting Nuix's goodwill and business reputation is everyone's responsibility.
Transparency
If you identify yourself as a team member of Nuix, it must be clear that you are not representing Nuix. If you endorse Nuix in any way, by law you must disclose your affiliation and role with Nuix. Include the disclaimer:
"The views expressed by me do not represent the views of my employer."
Related Policy
Use of social media is governed by the IT Resources and Communications policy, and your employment contract or Non-disclosure Agreement which includes Intellectual Property conditions. Key points include (but not limited to):
You are solely responsible for all content that you post or send.
Use of social media must not:
Break the law.
Involve unprofessional or inappropriate content.
Interfere with your employment responsibilities or productivity. Create legal liabilities for Nuix or damage its business or reputation. Violate contractual obligations you have to Nuix or Nuix Policies. Offend you, co-workers of Nuix's customers, stakeholders or affiliates.
