User Experience (35%). Ease of use, look and feel
Net Promoter Score (20%). Scale of 1-10 (How likely would you be to recommend this tool to

a friend?)
Task Success (35%). Users are given insructions to complete a task - metrics are collected to

measure successful completion rate.
Data Integration (10%).

Written feedback may be provided to all participants at the end of each phase. The purpose of
providing this feedback is to provide insight on the Government’s application of the scoring criteria or
identifed needs from users. However, the Government will not respond to quesions or inquiries

regarding this feedback.

How To Enter

Phase I: Proposal

Open Date: December 11, 2019

Duration: 6 weeks

Close Date: January 24, 2020 – Deadline to submit at 5:00 PM EST

Submit: Concept paper

Entries mus consis of PDF fles with font size no smaller than 11-point Arial.

All submissions mus be in English.
Solvers mus not use DOL, VA, DOD, or other government logos or ofcial seals in the
submissions and mus not otherwise give an appearance of Federal government endorsement.

Submission details to VETS.Challenge2020@dol.gov:
Title the email subject line “Veterans Employment Challenge Phase I Proposal”.
Email sender (person and email address) mus be Ofcial Representative/person of

contact for the team.
