Good Morning,
A resolution was approved at the November Board Meeting in Orlando to revert back to two separate
processes for membership and certification. As a result, two different applications have been produced
(see attached) and the Membership/Certification Application will no longer be valid.
This means that members will no longer be certified upon joining. All candidates for membership in
Chapter Board of Directors and Officers of chapters must be certified by PVA's National Secretary. Going
forward, please utilize the Certification of Membership Eligibility form for certification requests and email
them along with the required documents to PVA's National Secretary, Marcus Murray,
mmurraypva@gmail.com.
The new membership application is a brief one page form, applicants must continue to provide a DD214
(showing character of discharge) and medical evidence. Please note that proof of citizenship is no longer
required for membership only.
Please use the new membership application from now on, if you have completed membership/certification
applications on hand, please send them to me immediately for processing. I will no longer be accepting
them as of December 15th.
Both forms are now available for download in the Membership & Volunteer Database. Please feel free to
