Executive Director’s Report
Over the last few years, property value has skyrocketed in Phoenix. We
have seen many offers for our building. Some have been low other’s just
asked for us to give them our “right away” for free. We have a tentative
offer on our building and may make it worth looking for another home. We
have a few in mind, the Board of Directors will have the final decision.
Our new Fiscal year 2020 has started and we are busy filling out all the
required information to complete the audit and keep the Chapter running.
October was a busy month for outreach as is November.
We did four weekends at the Arizona State Fair, and leading into
November with the MS Walk, Rock Point Car Show, The Out of Darkness
Walk (for suicide prevention). The Chapter is participating in the Veteran’s
Day ArchAngels Run, The Spina Bifida Walk and Roll with the next day
being The Tucson Bike Run where we will be showing off all three of our
Terrain Hoppers.
All in all it will be a well- deserved Thanksgiving Holiday.
Keep Joe Hamilton in your thought as he will be representing the Chapter
th
at the Mid-Winter Board Meeting in Orlando, Fl. on November 12 . This is
Joe’s first trip as our representative.
Diego Suazo is still looking for more ideas for one day sporting events. If
you have an idea, please give us a call at (602) 244-9168 and we can try to
get it set up.
Along with your next newsletter you should be getting a copy of our Annual
Report. Please take the time to read it.
Your participation is what is needed to keep the Chapter running and doing
good deeds for the community. Our community outreach is extensive with
th
the loan closet and our stock piling for Stand Down which is Jan 24-25 . As
we help other groups; they help us.
Be safe and enjoy the holiday
Peter Quinn, Executive Director
