THE FALL ISSUE EDITOR’S LETTER

I am absolutely in love
nostalgia
with
and
the past. When I was
young, a hundred years
seemed like an eternity,
now, looking back one
hundred years is not so
1920 given shape and form in the past century. The liberation of a world that had finally
far out of reach. Mostly because so much of what we take for granted today was
put the Great War behind them left every avenue to grow and prosper and usher in
a more modern era. So many ideas and the inspiration for industrial advancements
made the possibilities endless.

This special issue of teenLook pays homage to this great era, The Roaring Twenties,
or as it was known in Paris, ‘Années Folles’ - The Crazy Years! It was a great time
when artists, writers and designers of fashion explored the freedom to create and
collaborate. With the events we are facing in this decade we have just started, we
might refer to this time as The Crazy Years too! Hopefully, our instinct for love and
goodwill towards each other will prevail. May we seek our time to be the best we
possibly can be at every step we take.
And with that being said, we are here to celebrate the models and photographers
featured in this issue!
I apologise for the delay of this issue. I do this on my own, and time for me has
become much more limited for my work on it here. Thank you all for your continued
support & patience. I will be enlisting the help of passionate and energetic teens and
parents to give me a hand. See page 86 for more details.
Don’t worry. teenLook is still going strong! With your help and support it will continue
to be even stonger. Keep sending in your submissions for the December issue and
I do hope you will enjoy the Fall Issue of teenLook, as much as I enjoyed putting it
together.
