              «COURSE DESCRIPTION«
              è ELMIRA COLLEGE COURSE BULLETIN

                   A study of advertising and its role in reaching organizational and marketing goals. Included are the basic
                   concepts of integrated marketing communications (IMC), the interaction between advertising and society,
                   the creation and evaluation of persuasive marketing communications, the functions of advertising agencies,
                   and media selection and scheduling. A key component of the course will be creating projects which students
                   will integrate advertising concepts and practices. J


                     It is your instructor, Alison M. Wolfe’s primary goal in this course that it be a fun learning
                    experience – 12+ weeks of conversation on strategic advertising and promotion management.

                    You will all have numerous insights that you will be able to share, not only based on your own
                     personal experiences, but also based on the course materials you will be required to read and
                                      professionals you will meet in the field of marketing.  J
