              The following questions are designed to measure how well this course met the objectives and learning outcomes described in its
              syllabus. They are designed to measure the effectiveness of the course itself, rather than your efforts as a student or mine as a
              teacher.  In particular, we are seeking to understand how well this course fits within the overall program objectives of Elmira
              College's Business Administration major and fashion merchandising/management concentration: to give you the skills and
              knowledge to function within today's global business environment, understand the role and process of fashion
              merchandising/management within organizations, and take on fashion merchandising/management  responsibilities at an
              organizational or entrepreneurial level.

               industry, including forecasting, buying cycles, sourcing, pricing,
               promotion, and distribution.
              I can explain the different functions of the merchandising process,
              including the development of buying plans, promotional materials and
              events and sales strategies for multiple retail channels.

               I can analyze the use of data and technology in fashion merchandising
               throughout the product life cycle.


               I can apply key principles in managing B-to-B relationships with vendors,
               suppliers, distribution channels and others.
               I can create sample merchandise plan and/or describe the components
               in a merchandise plan for a fashion product.
               I have applied and used team-building skills in my classroom discussions
               and team term project.

               I  can  demonstrate  an  understanding  of  the  terms,  concepts,  and
               principles used in the course assignments.
