Meet The Provincial Team

Provincial Almoner

Our Lodge Almoners regularly report to their Brethren at Lodge Meetings but very
often a great deal of what they do to help Brethren, which can take considerable
time and effort, is done in confidence and goes unnoticed and unheralded.
The Almoners role in a Lodge is so important and I would like to thank all the
Lodge Almoners for the work they do on behalf of their Brethren.
To help our Mark Lodge Almoners do their work, a National Almoners Handbook is available to
download and we have a Provincial Almoners Handbook.

In the Provincial Almoners Handbook my information under the help for Farmers section, has been
of interest locally and in other Provinces. There has been one very important change to this infor-
mation. The Freephone helpline for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution is now 0808
2819490
I hope Almoners and Brethren will continue to keep me up to date and as fully informed as possible
about notable events within Lodges.
It is very important that the Provincial Grand Secretary and myself are informed when a Brother
passes to the Grand Lodge Above.
I would also welcome details of happy events. It is always good to be able to add Provincial con-
gratulations to special birthdays and anniversaries.

There are a number of ways that we may be able to help Mark Master Masons and their families.
