Fifth Annual Provincial Grand Assembly of Royal Ark Mariners

25 Years for Cerdic

To celebrate the forthcoming 25 Anniversary, Cerdic Lodge
th
of Royal Ark Mariners decided to ‘mark’ the occasion and after
much discussion, Paulin Phillips volunteered to make and donate an
Honours Board. In March of this year David Nelson, our Provincial
Grand Master accompanied by members of the Provincial Team,
attended the Lodge to Dedicate the New Board. After an excellent
Elevation Ceremony for Candidate, Bob Loader, the PGM accepted
the Sceptre from W. Commander Ian Walker and with the Provincial
Wardens and Deacons installed in their respected positions,
proceeded with the Dedication. An escort of Senior Officers of
the Lodge was assembled and the Honours Board, shrouded in a
white sheet, was paraded into the Lodge and placed in the South
East Corner. The PGM assisted by the Provincial Grand Chaplain,
Les Downs, dedicated the Board by unveiling it and figuratively
placing it into the care of the W. Commander. An Oration from
the Provincial Grand Chaplain followed covering Memorials and
Honours Boards from all spheres of life, which the Brethren received
with acclamation. The W. Commander then resumed his chair and
the business of the evening, which included a successful Ballot for
rejoining member Nigel White, who was welcomed into the Lodge

2010
Sat. 6th of February - Thackeray RAM Lodge No 730 will
present the Travelling Ark to the Provincial Grand Master at
the Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Assembly to be held at the
Nailsea Masonic Hall. (Venue to be confirmed).
