Congratulations to the lucky winners over the last eight months.
The new competition started last September at the George
Norman Lodge, No. 967, Yatton. So brethren, speak to your
Lodge Charity Steward about the entry forms or use the form
enclosed with this magazine. The previous competition raised
nearly £3000 for the Provincial Benevolent Fund which in turn
supports local Charities. And nearly £3000 will be paid out in

Tradition informs us that at the building of the Temple, each
workman placed his own Mark upon his own material. The tools
of a Mark Master Mason are the Chisel and the Mallet, with
which he fashions his work. His Mark, therefore, should be one
made with the straight cutting edge of the Chisel. A Mark should
be composed of straight lines in any form, whether in squares,
angles or triangles. Such Marks can be made by the edge of the
Chisel, under the stroke of the Mallet. Information courtesy The
