About the Author

Paulette was born in Tulia, Texas. She and her parents moved to
Erick, Oklahoma soon after her birth. Her father worked as a ranch

hand on the Davis Ranch. It was on this ranch that Paulette developed
her love for animals. She didn’t have any brothers or sisters, so her
playmates were horses, cows, dogs, cats and yes even frogs. Everyday
was an adventure on the ranch riding her Shetland pony, playing with

the cows, dogs and cats. She loved to follow her dad as he took care of
the ranch animals.

At the age of six, her father moved them to the town of Blair,
Oklahoma where she attended school for two years. They then moved

ten miles north to Altus, Oklahoma where she lived until getting
married.

Paulette has traveled to many states and several countries, but her love
of ranch life and animals never left her heart. She always has one or two

dogs, all of them spoiled. Presently she and her husband are enjoying
seeing the beautiful country by RVing and camping.

She is the mother of two sons and grandmother to five grandchildren.
After retirement, she decided to pursue her dream of writing, combining

it with love of family and her love of art. It is only natural that she
writes about country living, animals and family in her books.

Paulette has more books in the works because as she says, “There is
always a magical adventure, just look for it.”
