Juniors may be hard to find because of the chaos that is Junior Year.
junior sightings
“Just keep swimming, just keep swimming,”
became the motto of the junior class, stemming from the words of Dory, an animated fish from their Spirit Day theme. As junior year schedules are crammed with endless studying, sports games, SAT prep, and college tours, it is hard for anyone to keep his or her head above water. While one may see an exhausted junior dozing off in the quad, or dashing to class with papers flying in the air, or even singing on stage in one of the Priory's world- class productions, consider these sightings rare, Juniors are in constant motion and hard to spot! The class of 2015 is filled with ambition and strives for excellence. They work at a constant and exhausting pace. So if you see one working in a state of hyper anxiety, feel free to chime just keep swimming, just keep swimming. Senior year will be here soon...
When asked about how her junior year has been so far, Mayra Barriga replied “The teachers make the classes really fun and the curriculum interesting. I love coming to school now because my classes are so entertaining! My classmates and I have gotten a lot closer too. Everyone is so nice and and considerate of each and other's feelings. Even though we are all stressed over grades and junior year, it's nice to know everyone is on the same boat.”
Julie Joyce, a new junior this year, is in love with the Priory. She says of her experience with the Panthers, “Junior year at Priory has been pretty awesome so far. As a new student, I didn't know what to expect. The teachers here, among other things, have made junior year my best year of High School so far.”
