The Priory dorms combine culture, community, and cuisine to create an atmosphere of diversity and friendship.
in eighty ways
If you want to find a place to relax after a long day full of
quizzes, tests and classwork while hanging out with friends and playing some video games on Xbox, then head down to one of the two Priory dorms. Benedict House and Anselm House's unassuming exteriors cannot reveal how much laughter has taken place in the lounge, how many pizzas and noodles have been cooked in the kitchen, and how much energy has been hidden in these small buildings for years and years.
The dorms are the “melting pot” and the diversity hub of the Priory. Filled with diverse identities, cultures, and entertainment, they are home to Andy Isokpehi (11) and Samuel Ogunleye (11) rapping in the shower room and the smell of delicious cuisine cooked by Victor Wan (12). Walking down the hallway, you can hear the rapid tapping sound of keyboards made by new dormers John Lee (10) or Alberto Coppola (11) playing League of Legends on their computers. intense plots. In this space, we have students from all over the world who hang out, make friends with each other, and enjoy the harmonious atmosphere and diversity of the dorms.
Despite being away from their families, newcomers are very pleased with the numerous advantages of living in America. Kanin Bunajinda (10) from Thailand, Asia, said, “America is very convenient, and shopping is easy accessible. Both online and physically visiting stores are exciting and easier in America.”
Furthermore, there are many dormers who live in America, but are staying at school for the excitement of living away from their families and with their friends or the convenience of no commute. This has made them part of a close community. Alejandra Sanchez (10) said, “Everyone in the dorms is so welcoming and friendly. We're a close knit group!” The value of community at Priory has clearly been multiplied tenfold in the dorms.
Priory dormers are able to enjoy the mix of cultures typical in America, bonding with friends from all over the world.
