There are a lot of energetic middle schoolers dominating
the court this year. Regardless of their young ages, Priory middle school tennis team members tried their best focusing on every ball coming to them and swinging their rackets as hard as they could. Priory young tennis players loved tennis so much that they treasured every practice and match they had.
Team spirit was also one of the most powerful things on the team. At every match, you can hear screaming and cheering from team members. “Go Priory, do your best!” The team members are so energetic that every one is confident at their games. Why does every one support our tennis team so much? Their love toward the team is the main reason. As Mark Theis (8) said, “Playing tennis at Priory is not very forceful and I can play with the people I like.” Also, practicing rally skills while having fun and strengthening team spirit was definitely the best way to increase middle schoolers' affection toward tennis.
Every rally they swung, every drop of sweat that fell, and every ball they tried to reach were their success in this tennis season.
Priory middle school volleyball teams are divided into three teams: Varsity A, Varsity B, and JV.
Energetic middle school girls totally dominated the gym this season. They have a burning passion for volleyball. At 3:30 to 5:00 pm every school day, you can see middle school girls running and smiling in the gym. Sometimes they were doing stretching, sometime they are throwing and catching ball.
Although the volleyball net was almost twice time higher than them, middle school volleyball team girls tried their best to throw balls over the net. A member said, “I just could not throw ball over the net. It is too high. But with the help of the coaches, I can finally throw every ball over the net to the opposite side successfully.
The practice was not only full with throwing and catching volleyball. Instead, there were a lot of fun games during practice. And coaches always told funny jokes when the team members felt boring and tired of practicing.
