because Priory's swim team is about to dive in. A sport that requires a person's physical and mental mindset. “Hardworking” is a word that fits Priory athletes. Swimmers know how special it is to have a team to learn and compete with. This precious opportunity sticks with everyone on the team.
Although swimming may seem an “individual sport”, it truly requires teamwork between the swimmers and coaches. The collaboration is between a coach and the entire team. Priory seeks for great coaches to guide student athletes to victory and life lessons as to how to fight through pain both physically and mentally.
as a community. Everyone is involved with certain skills that reflect the swimmer's individuality. Swimmers are fullfilled with spirit due to their passion for this sport. “Swimming allows me to challenge myself mentally and physically as well as stay in great shape,” said Chris Perez (11).
Priory is a small school, but the swim team is one big family. Seniors who join swim team tend to enjoy their last bit of their high school team sport experience. The family members bond with each other daily; they are so comfortable sharing and reflecting on their feelings with each other.
