Everybody knows that Priory faculty, staff, and students are often a unique bunch. What first impressions did faculty and staff members make on each other their first day?
“There was a young math teacher in the faculty room during my free period who had a great sense of humor: Mr. Marsheck”
-Mrs. Newman
“Brother Edward was wearing hightop Nike's under his robe”
- Mr. Somerville

“In a faculty-student football game, Mr. Molak (then Dean of Students) threw perfect passes with the tightest spirals.”
1. Mr. Neale loves his new podium, which allows him to roll around the classroom as he teaches. 2.Mr.Trudelledescribesa commercial that he has been doing for years, ensuring that his students learn as well as possible. 3. Mr. Cohen explains the construction of a historical essay to one of his students. 4. Everyone has heard about Father Martin's woodworking - here he is in action working on his famous annual grandfather clock.
Writing Lab was a Priory institution. What will happen without it?
This year in the English department, writing lab became an elective for underclassmen. Mr. Schlaak explained that the decision was made in order to give freshmen the choice of an elective. Ms. Gonzalez, who taught writing lab last year, said, “The decision was made to give freshmen more flexibility in their schedule; however, writing lab is still a class that is seen as an essential curriculum that will provide necessary skills for students. It has not been seen as anything more than help towards the abilities of students and no one has complained about it. I still look forward to many students taking the course to improve their writing skills.”
Andrew Naclerio (12) joked, “I bet freshmen will not be able to write if they do not take this course. Many students have learned the basics of great writing from this course and it is unfortunate that many students are no longer taking it.” Writing lab was a fantastic and imperative aspect of the English department and the Priory experience, and its absence may cause a significant change in Priory students' English education.”

what is the strangest thing
you have ever eaten?
The strangest thing I have ever eaten was probably fried rabbit. It was actually delicious, but I felt so sad for the poor bunny. It was really quite depressing (though also very delicious). -Grant Whitman (6)
The strangest thing I've ever had is cactus. -Wako Morimoto (9)
Strangest thing I have ever eaten: a hot dog with pizza fillings like pepperoni, onions and cheese (it doesn't even have sausage..) -Howard Mu (12)
Chicken. -Siddharth Gandhi (11)
The strangest thing I've ever eaten is probably the “curry” in the cafeteria. One thing's for sure - I've never seen cauliflower in curry before. - Alexander Han (8)
Duck tongue... I actually really like it. -Betty Chen (8)
