Are seniors really the toughest in the school? Is middle schoolevenconsideredcompetition?Thesequestionswere all answered during “Battle Day,” which commenced the last day of Spirit Week.
“Battle Day” was new to Priory students. Instead of having a day filled with inflatables and carnival games, Priory's ASB decided to go old school with classic competitions. To show unity the everyone wore classic white priory shirts with their graduation year on the back. The day was split up into different competitions, and ASB evencreatedanarenaonPriory'sfieldtoholdthedifferent
competitions. To start there was ultimate frisbee which camedowntoajuniorvs.seniorrivalrybutultimately leaving players like Austin Risley (11) dumbfounded when the seniors scored a winning touchdown. Other events included water balloon toss, dizzy bat, and the classic tug-of-war.
Senior class rep Anna Brett (12) says, “It was one of the funnest days I have ever had at school.” Scotty Harris (11) claims, “Next year my class is going to win it all.” The final result was a tie win between the middle schoolandseniorclass.Definitelyadaytoremember.
