Everyday at 3:30-5:00pm, the girls practice rigorously hoping for huge victories at their matches. Despite their losses in a few games, they still stand strong on the tennis courts, cheering each other on with a new addition to their team. This year the Priory girls tennis team members including team captain MillaBevens(12),jointogetherforabrandnewseason of tennis. Even though,the team is made up of many new incoming freshmen who have greatly contributed to the team's reputation. The returning players have welcomedthenewplayerswithopenarmsandfriendly plays. The new members seem to love being on the

team. Junior, Tara Tedjarati (11) says “I really enjoy the tennis team at Priory. I like the welcoming atmosphere, and how we always work to improve as a team.” Elizabeth Duncan (9) says “I was super worried about joining the team, but I felt really welcomed. There's this awesome balance between all of the bondingandcompeting.”Theoldmembersalsoseem to enjoy having the addition to their team. Delara Fotovatjah (10) says “They bring jokes to practice and makes everyone have fun.” Another junior, Mirthia Prince-Figuereo(11)says“Thisyearourteamismuch stronger and works great together!”
