Take me out to the ball game!
The Boy's Varsity Baseball team was a combination of seasoned veteran upperclassmen and a slew of new freshman participants. “We're really glad to have enough kids to field a team again” said Clint Finney (12). Two years ago Priory did not have a team, but the recent push to get new players has had great effect in fielding a full squad recently. James Phelps (12) says that, “it's a lot of fun working hard on our skills and hopefully we can make a significant impact in our league this year.”
The whole team grinded out their pre-season work, and Phelps said that “the toughest part is getting everyone up to game speed,” but the Panthers have worked tirelessly to get to that point. Priory's seniors are all excited to have gotten to this point in their athletic careers. After starting off 1-1 on the season,“I'm excited for what the rest of the season has in store for us” exclaimed Finney, before racing back to finish practice with his squad.
