Marathon men (and women)

It was another successful year for the middle school cross country team. This year there were a lot moreparticipantsthanthepastyear.Theteamworked hard the whole season with great enthusiasm. They made many memories during their time together as a team.Thecoacheswereimpressedwiththeeffortthat thekidsputineachandeveryday.Theycouldnothave asked for a better team.
The coaches' goals for the new year were to get their runners in better shape, to improve their times each race, and have them develop an interest in running.It was the last year for the eight graders and
they gave it their all. The sixth graders didn't slack, and they impressed the coaches for their firstyear.Fortheirsecondyeartheseventh graders stayed consistently and strong.
Top runner for boys, eighth grader Joshua Eichbaum,dominatedthroughoutraces.Withhis hardworkanddedicationhecameinfourthplace at the league champions. The girls top runner, Kaela Marsheck, only a sixth grader, worked her way to the top and received an impressive second place at finals, following her sister's footsteps.
