The project for the jail section called “Orchidea” addresses the issue of wellness and re-education of
prisoners. It is a theme that is always undervalued or forgotten.
Two principles lead us to this little project:
- the re-education through the team work
- the customization of a place lead a person to take care of it
We though to convert the wall of the prison in a little town and every cell in a different house through the
iconic shape of pentagon which refers to the archetype of house.
The painting has been made by the prisoners. After the architectural survey we create a 3D model and we
made several trials through a rendering work.
