Fractionalizing Inventory
b. On the editing page:
1. Select Fractional: Yes
2. Type “3 DISCS” in Unit Name (this will print on barcode label)
3. Set checkout units in billing units to 5, the system will now see the box of 15
as 5 packs of 3
4. Set “Checkout Units on Hand” to 4 (12 discs = 4 packs of 3)
5. Click “SAVE” at the bottom of screen
c. On the inventory page, you will see that the part number is showing as fractional, QTY info is displayed both as a fraction and a decimal
