Fractionalizing Inventory
2. From inventory page select “Edit” for masking tape
a. If checked out roll Fractional = YES
b. If checked out by sleeve Fractional = NO
c. If checked out by case Fractional = NO tech must check out four sleeves
3. On the same Edit Properties page, set the order quantity a. If tape will be ordered by the case set Order QTY to 4 b. If tape will be ordered by the sleeve leave QTY at 1
4. When a shop wants to order less than a sleeve of tape
a. If infrequent they should order outside of TIM
b. If they frequently buy less than a sleeve of tape you should add it to inventory by the roll (may have to create a local part number)
