Capacitance type 2 Wire & 3 wire Level transmitter

Capacitance is measured between 2 probes that are electrically isolated from one another by a
nonconductor (dielectric).
Type of Probes :
A) Flexible Rope :
A flexible PTFE insulated SS rope for measurement of liquid in the tank. In this case the tank is considered
as the second probe.
B) Rigid Rod :
A Rigid PTFE insulated SS rod for measurement of liquid in the tank. In case a concentric pipe is provided
then the pipe acts as the second electrode . If concentric pipe is absent then the tank is considered as the
second electrode.
C) Non Insulated Rigid Rod :
A Rigid non insulated SS rod for measurement of liquid in the tank. A concentric pipe is provided which is
isolated from the centre rod.This is used for non conducting liquids

This paddle type flow switch is used to detect flow or no flow in a horizontal / vertical pipe line.
Their electrical signals can be used to generate an Alarm, safe guard a pump from dry run,
shower systems, central heating systams, air conditioning / ventilation units & also digital outputs
to a PLC or electronic control units.

The Piston Type Flow Switch series flow switch is a rugged model & operates in any mounting
position. As the liquid flow increases it displaces a magnetic piston which operates a
hermetically sealed reed switch which is mounted externally. When flow decreases a stainless
steel spring returns the piston to its original position and de-actuates the reed switch.
