indicates a four- to five-fold increase in reported cases in 2011-2021, over previous decades with a
dramatic shift in dermatophyte spectrum from T. rubrum (57% in 1961-70 to 26% in 2011-21) to T.
interdigitale (6% in 1961-70 to 53% in 2011-21).
