4. Increase in Sectional Speeds and New lines / Doubling

a. Sectional Speeds

 FM-DHNE Section – CRS sanction received for Raising of sectional speed from 100 to
110 Kmph on 02.12.2020 and same has been implemented.

 SHNR –GLY (New Double Line) – Double line commissioned in the month of Sept’20
with MPS 75 Kmph and increasing of speed from 75 to 100 Kmph implemented in
March’21.

 GWD – PASR (27.36 Km) between Gadwal – Raichur Section – The sectional
speed has been increased from 60 Kmph to 100 Kmph on 14.08.2021.

 RC – PASR (29.89 Km ) between Gadwal – Raichur Section – The sectional speed
has been increased from 50 Kmph to 75 Kmph in May’2022.

 SHNR –GLY (New Double Line) –Increasing of speed from 100 to 110 Kmph, PCE
approval received on 27.10.2022 and implemented on 03.11.2022.

b. New Lines

 Gajwel – Kodakandla – New line (11.529 Km) – CRS inspection done on 11.02.2022
and CRS sanction received for 60 Kmph.

 Makthal- Magnur stations, 13.305 Km – (Devarkadra - Krishna Section) has been
done in March 2022 and section commissioned.

 Akanapet - Medak stations, 17.338 Km New line has been done on 26.03.2022.
CRS sanction given for 70 Kmph.

c. Doubling

 Falaknuma - Umdanagar– Double line (DN Line) (14 Km) – Commissioned in the
month of March’21, taken over by open line.

 Umdanagar – Shadnagar - Double line (DN Line) (29.76 Km) – Commissioned in the
month of July ’21, taken over by open line.

 Divitipalli – Mahabubnagar – Double Line (DN Line) (10.453 Km) – CRS inspection
done on 10.02.2022 and CRS sanction received for 90 Kmph.

 Gollapalli - Divitipalli stations – Double line (DN Line) 13.255 Km – Commissioned
in the month of March 2022 and taken over by open line.
