  First DEMU shed to Repair and overhaul 1600 HP DEMU hydraulic pumps

                    DLS/MLY has become the first shed to perform the repairs and overhauling of six
                    no‟s of 1600 HP DEMU hydraulic pumps indigenously with zero expenditure. This
                    has affected a savings of at least INR 15 Lakhs as no materials, external guidance
                    or spares were utilized in the process. In addition to the above, 3 DPCs which were
                    previously under ineffective, awaiting hydraulic pump repairs have now been put into
                    service



















                   Performing complete in-house repairs to the DEMU Load Control Console:

                    DLS/MLY is the first Diesel Shed in the IR to perform completely in-house repairs to
                    DEMU  Load  Control  Console  (LCC).  Two  LCCs  of  DLS/MLY  have  been  repaired
                    affecting  a  savings  of  INR  8  Lakhs.  DLS/SGUJ  have  also  sent  3  LCCs  units  for
                    repairs to DLS/MLY which are under progress.
