BIODATA:
Prof. Datuk Dr. John Antony Xavier was a career civil servant for 36 years with the Malaysian government as an
administrative and diplomatic officer. He served in various management capacities in ministries and
departments including the Inland Revenue Department, Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Ministry
of Science, Technology and Environment, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Primary Industries, Ministry of
Finance, the National Institute of Public Administration and the Public Service Department. As an academic he
has researched and published over 30 refereed articles on public-management reform including performance
management and the Blue Ocean Strategy. He teaches corporate strategy and public policy. He has also
authored six books on law, competitiveness and public management and co-authored book chapters.

Prof. Datuk Seri Dr. Md Zabid Haji Abdul Rashid is the current Executive Director of Think Data Sdn Bhd. Besides
that, he also currently serves as Chairman of Koperasi Profesional Wilayah Berhad (KoProw), Covers International
Berhad, Director of the Bizald Technologies Sdn Bhd and several NGOs including Yayasan Pendidikan Tun Abdul
Razak (PINTAR), Yayasan Cemerlang, Vice President of the One Belt One Road Association Malaysia, Immediate
past Chairman of the Chartered Management Institute Malaysia Board, and Member of the Melaka State Eonomic
Action Council and the Melaka Starte Digital Council. He has more than 40 years' experience in various positions
in large corporations and has received many professional recognitions and awards for his contributions.
