The Office of the National Water Resources (ONWR) will move forward the integrated plan
to solve the flood in crisis areas in a systematic manner. The assigned agency is the Department of
Public Works and Town & Country planning which is under Ministry of Interior as the main office
in planning in cases of flood, and rain drainage, especially in Bangkok and main cities, as well
as to increase the efficiency of water drainage, expedite the drafting of a river basin plan according to the
Water Resources Act article 23 (5).
