The Department of Airports (DOA) is the agency tasked with promoting air transport network and
developing airport operations to be safe and efficient. In fiscal year 2020, the Department of Airports
has continued to implement the policies of the Ministry of Transport. Although the Coronavirus Disease
2019 or COVID-19 pandemic adversely affected its projects, the Department of Airports has nonetheless
continued to develop the infrastructure on air transportation to increase the efficiency of public travel,
as well as strictly implemented preventive measures on COVID-19 in the airports under its jurisdiction
in line with the Transport New Normal Guidelines of the Ministry of Transport.
