MOVING UP TO MILLFIELD

SCHOLARSHIPS

Chess: Pupils who wish to apply should complete the
online scholarship application form by 1 December 2025.
They will then attend the Millfield 13+ Chess Scholarship
assessment from 24-26 January 2026.
Dance: Pupils who wish to apply should complete the online
scholarship application form by 1 December 2025. They will
then attend the Millfield 13+ Dance Scholarship assessment
on either 27 January 2026.

Drama: Pupils who wish to apply should complete the online
scholarship application form by 1 December 2025. They will
then attend the Millfield 13+ Drama Scholarship assessment
on either 27 or 29 January 2026.

Product Design: Pupils who wish to apply should complete
the online scholarship application form by 1 December
2025. Candidates will be invited to attend the assessment
day on 28 January 2026 and will also need to submit a
portfolio of their work on the day.
Music: Pupils who wish to apply should complete the online
scholarship application form by 1 December 2025. They will
then attend the Millfield 13+ Music Scholarship assessment
on either 26 or 27 January 2026.

Sport: Pupils who are not current Sport Scholarship
holders and who wish to apply should complete the
online scholarship application form by 1 December 2025.
They will then be required to attend a technical sport
assessment at Millfield on either 27 or 29 January 2026. The
Senior Admissions team will be in touch to allocate a date.

Pupils will have been monitored throughout Year 8 by Prep
and Senior sport coaches. There will be a particular focus
upon the practical physical and technical assessments held
during the course of Year 8 in Physical Education lessons,
game sessions and matches.
